Prompt: At the end of the novel, Celie reconnects with Nettie and forms more peaceful relationships with the people who once harmed her. Reflect on the theme of reconciliation. Have you ever restored a relationship, forgiven someone, or been forgiven in a way that changed you? How does the novel’s ending shape your understanding of forgiveness across different cultures or families?

One time that I was forgiven was when some lady hit my car that was 20 years old that my dad had an emotional connection with but it was totaled by the other driver who turned left on a red light. I both had to forgive that lady and be forgiven by my dad who had nobody to blame but me and the other driver. It was really not fun and I almost died but I made it out and I drive a 25 year old CRV now so its all good. The other car was a 2005 accord.

Today we started our project and finished out the novel.

I learned new vocabulary words that I was previously unfamiliar with.
